Comments: | Sex offenders have always lived in our communities; but it was not until passage of the community protection act of 1990 (which mandates sex offender registration) that law enforcement even knew where they were living. In many cases, law enforcement is not able to share that information with you. Citizen abuse of this information to threaten, intimidate or harass registered sex offenders will not be tolerated. Further, such abuse could potentially end law enforcement's ability to do community notifications. We believe the only person who wins if community notification ends is the sex offender, since sex offenders drive their power through secrecy. According to official documents TREVER R JIMENEZ (age 21) pled guilty to Rape in the 3rd Degree in Whatcom County Superior Court on 6-19-2014. This was the result of an incident which took place while JIMENEZ was at a party consuming alcohol and ecstasy. JIMENEZ met up with the 15 year old victim who he had known from prior interactions. While at the party, JIMENEZ took the victim to a back deck of the house where there were no other partygoers and began kissing and biting the victim on the neck. JIMENEZ also put his hands down the victim's pants. After JIMENEZ bit the victims' neck she cried out in pain and thought she may have been bleeding. The victim returned to the house and found her friend. The friend saw the victim was visibly intoxicated and told her to go to the car. The victim started for the door when JIMENEZ and a male accomplice grabbed her hand and lead her to JIMENEZ'S vehicle. The accomplice held the victim by her wrists against her will while JEMENEZ raped her, then the two changed positions. The victim was allowed to get dressed and she returned to the party where she found her friend. The victim told her friend of the incident and Police were called. TREVER R.
