| Comments: | According to official documents Mceachern pled guilty in Kitsap County Superior Court on 11/16/2007 to two counts of Communication with a Minor for Immoral Purposes, and one count of Possession of Depictions of Minors engaged in Sexually Explicit Conduct. He was sentenced to 15 months in prison for each count to be served concurrently. These convictions were the result of Mceachern contacting the unknown 13 year old female victim on the internet and asking her if she wanted to have sex. This contact continued for five days and Mceachern pressured the victim to meet him for sex. The victim was actually a representative of an online predator organization who contacted law enforcement regarding Mceachern?s online activities. Mceachern was arrested when he arrived at the location where he had agreed to meet the victim to have sex with her. During a search of Mceachern?s computer subsequent to this investigation child pornography was found on his computer. Mceachern also contacted a separate 13 year old female victim on the internet and asked her to have sex. The victim in this case was actually an investigator for a law enforcement agency conducting undercover operations to locate adults trying to engage minors in sexual activities. Mceachern is no longer on active supervision. |
