Probable cause affidavit: SUBMITTED By: TAYLOR, SHELLEY 0401 (AR11122647) did unlawfully traffic in or endeavor to traffic in property that HE knew or should have known was stolen, to-wit: JEWELRY, the property of THE VICTIM, in violation of Florida Statute 812.019(1) (AND) KNOWINGLY GAVE FALSE VERIFICATION OF OWNERSHIP OF JEWELRY, AND THE DEFENDANT GAVE A FALSE OR ALTERED IDENTIFICATION AND WHO RECEIVED MONEY IN THE AMOUNT OF $292.00 FROM THE FLORIDA JEWELERS PAWNBROKER FOR JEWELRY VALUED AT MORE THAN $300.00, IN VIOLATION OF: FLORIDA STATE STATUTE 539.001(8)(B)(8)(B) ON 082811, THE VICTIM, MR MICHAEL FEESER, DISCOVERED THAT HE HAD SEVERAL PIECES OF MEN'S JEWELRY STOLEN FROM HIS RESIDENCE AS REPORTED IN CASE 11081115. THE VICTIM ALSO PROVIDED A LIST OF POSSIBLE SUSPECTS, AS THEY ARE FRIENDS OF HIS SON, AND DRAWINGS OF THE MISSING JEWELRY. ON 082911, THIS DETECTIVE CONDUCTED A PAWN SEARCH FOR AN ASSOCIATE OF THE LISTED SUSPECTS WHO HAD RECENTLY BEEN ARRESTED. IT WAS DISCOVERED THAT ON 080111, THE DEFENDANT, TYLER BUCKINGHAM, HAD SOLD A MAN'S RING AND A GOLD ANCHOR TIE PIN THAT RESEMBLED THE DESCRIPTION OF THE VICTIM'S JEWELRY, TO FLORIDA JEWELERS ON TRANSACTION FORM 6235. CONTACT WAS MADE WITH THE VICTIM, WHO AGREED TO MEET WITH THIS DETECTIVE AT FLORIDA JEWELERS. AT APPROXIMATELY 1515 HOURS, THE VICTIM WAS ABLE TO POSITIVELY IDENTIFY THE RING AND TIE PIN AS HIS, WHICH HE HAD REPORTED STOLEN. THE APPROPRIATE PAWN AFFIDAVITS WERE COMPLETED AND PHOTOGRAPHS WERE TAKEN OF THE JEWELRY. ON 090711, CONTACT WAS MADE WITH THE DEFENDANT DURING A TRAFFIC STOP WHERE HE WAS TAKEN INTO CUSTODY, HANDCUFFED (DOUBLE LOCKED) AND PLACED IN THE REAR SEAT OF MY PATROL VEHICLE AND TRANSPORTED TO THE CITRUS COUNTY DETENTION FACILITY. THIS DETECTIVE ASKED THE DEFENDANT IF HE WISHED TO SPEAK WITH ME REGARDING HIS INVOLVEMENT IN THIS CASE. THE DEFENDANT ADVISED HE COULD NOT REMEMBER SELLING ANY JEWELRY, AS HE WAS VERY DEPENDENT UPON PILLS OVER THE LAST FEW MONTHS. THE DEFENDANT WAS CHARGED WITH DEALING IN STOLEN PROPERTY AND FALSE INFORMATION TO A PAWN BROKER. THE DEFENDANT'S BOND WAS SET AT $7,000.00 PER THE BOND SCHEDULE.
