DID UNLAWFULLY AND KNOWINGLY, while committing or after committing theft of property, resist the reasonable effort of a merchant OR merchant's employee, to recover the property WHICH THE merchant OR merchant's employee had probable cause to believe the individual had concealed or removed from its place of display or elsewhere, IN VIOLATION OF FLORIDA STATE STATUTE 812.015(6). ON 012409, I WAS DISPATCHED TO THE SUPER WAL-MART LOCATED AT 2461 EAST GULF TO LAKE HIGHWAY, IN INVERNESS, IN REFERENCE TO A SHOPLIFTER IN CUSTODY. UPON ARRIVAL, I MADE CONTACT WITH THE COMPLAINANT/LOSS PREVENTION OFFICER FOR WAL-MART, WHO HAD THE DEFENDANT, MS VALERIE ROBINSON, IN CUSTODY FOR SHOPLIFTING. THE DEFENDANT DID HAVE IN HER POSSESSION 15 ITEMS WORTH A TOTAL VALUE OF $76.37. THE DEFENDANT DID TAKE THE PROPERTY PAST ALL POINTS OF SALE WHERE she WAS CONFRONTED BY LOSS PREVENTION. THE DEFENDANT THEN ATTEMPTED TO DODGE and GO AROUND LOSS PREVENTION AND RESIST BY PULLING AWAY. THE LOSS PREVENTION OFFICER COMPLETED A SWORN WRITTEN STATEMENT. A PROPERTY RECEIPT WAS COMPLETED FOR THE STOLEN PROPERTY AND THE PROPERTY WAS TURNED BACK OVER TO WAL-MART. A PROPERTY RECEIPT WAS ALSO COMPLETED FOR A COPY OF THE SURVEILLANCE VIDEO WHICH WILL BE TURNED IN TO the CITRUS COUNTY SHERIFFS' OFFICE EVIDENCE LOCKER ALONG WITH THE VIDEO. ALL COPIES OF PAPERWORK WILL BE TURNED IN TO THE CITRUS COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE RECORDS DEPARTMENT. THE DEFENDANT WAS THEN PLACED UNDER ARREST, HANDCUFFED (DOUBLE-LOCKED) BEHIND HER BACK AND SECURED IN the REAR SEAT OF MY PATROL VEHICLE.
