| Commentaries: | Comments According to official documents, Hanson pled guilty on May 21, 2003 to the crimes of Kidnapping in the 1st Degree and Assault 2nd Degree and was given a term of 84 months. The victim in this crime was 21 years of age. As the victim and his friend arrived at the victim's residence and before exiting their vehicle he was sprayed with mace. The victim was pulled from the vehicle and repeatedly struck with brass knuckles again sprayed with mace. The passenger in the vehicle was throw from the vehicle and the victim was forced into the backseat. The victim was driven to a field and assaulted again with his shirt pulled over head and tied. The victim then was required to remove everything from his pockets and then placed into the trunk of the vehicle and driven around for several hours. The victim was then removed from the trunk and again assaulted and told to walk into the woods. Hanson and another person then left in the victims vehicle and stripped the victim's vehicle of several thousands of dollars worth of stereo equipment. The victim was located walking down a road by police officers and taken to the hospital where he was treated for his injuries. On January 12, 2000 Hanson was found guilty of the crime of Indecent Liberties. The victim in this crime was a 15 year old female. The victim reported that she met Hanson through her friends and had only known him for 24 hours. The victim went to Hanson's home where the victim and her three girlfriends consumed substantial amounts of alcohol and drugs. The victim passed out at this home and awoke to fine Hanson sexually assaulting her. Hanson was given a term of 26 months with credit for time served awaiting trial. He was released from prison on July 23, 2001 and was on supervision at the time of his current crime. Hanson is no longer on supervision. Shall not purchase, own, have in possession or under his control any firearm. |
