| Commentaries: | Comments According to official documents Degroot pled guilty in Snohomish County Superior Court on 12/10/1996 to one count of Rape of a Child in the Second Degree and one count of Rape of a child in the Third Degree. He was sentenced to 96 months in prison. This conviction was the result of Degroot sexually assaulting the the known 16 year old male victim from when he was 10 years old. Degroot also sexually assaulted the second victim who was 14 during the time of the sexual assaults. Degroot declined to participate in sex offender treatment while in prison.
