| Comments: | According to official documents, on the evening of October 19, 1993, the victim who was a 22 year-old female met Hawley at an Everett bar. The victim left the bar with Hawley, to go to a local restaurant to get something to eat. Instead, Hawley drove his vehicle to a secluded area outside the city limits, telling the victim he was looking for a place to turn his vehicle around. He stopped his vehicle and leaned over to kiss the victim. The victim told him NO, but Hawley then grabbed the victim around her throat and told her to shut up. The victim began to lose consciousness. The victim was then sexually assaulted and left her by the side of the road and drove away. The victim was also physically assaulted and had a black eye and broken teeth. Hawley was also convicted of Forgery at the same time in court for taking a check and cashing it, after making the check out to himself. On May 6th, 1988 Hawley was convicted of the crime of Rape in the Second Degree and was given 24 months in prison. During this assault, Hawley provided whiskey, beer and drugs to minor females and once one of the females passed out, Hawley sexually assaulted her. This victim was 15 years of age. Hawley was offered sex offender treatment during both incarcerations and declined to participate. Hawley did attend treatment for substance abuse in 1991, but he was at a bar when he met the current victim. Hawley is no longer on supervision " Probation Conditions Not to possess or consume any controlled substance without a lawful Rx Shall not possess any firearm. No direct or indirect contact with the victim for Life. |
