| Narrative: | On the above date and time, officers of the Brooksville Police Department responded to Sunoco in reference to a shoplifter. Upon arrival, officers made contact with the manager who advised a subject, later identified as William McNamee IV, entered the store and selected an ice coffee off of the shelf. He then placed the iced coffee in his pants and left the store without paying for it. Investigation revealed McNamee lived at 20071 Ruth Street. Officers responded and made contact with McNamee who fled out the rear door of the residence. A brief foot pursuit ensued and McNamee was captured and placed under arrest without incident. He was transported to the Hernando County Jail where he is being held on $1,500.00 bond. |
