| Commentaries: | Comments According to official documents, Goldschmidt was convicted of Rape of a Child 1st degree, 2 counts in San Juan County Juvenile Court on 4-21-1997. The victim was an 11-year-old boy who was staying at the same residence. Goldschmidt served a term of 52 weeks in a juvenile institution. Goldschmidt was convicted in 2000 of the crime of Assault in the 3rd Degree with Sexual Motivation. While Goldschmidt at Secret Harbor School in sexually assaulted a 14 year old male. He closed the door to the room that they were in and grabbed the victim by his neck and forced the victim to perform a sex act. Goldschmidt was tried as an adult in this case. He was given a term of 12 months in jail and 36-48 months of community supervision. While on active supervision he committed several violations including sexual contact with a minor female child. After these violations, Goldschmidt was admitted to the Special Commitment Center on July 10, 2003 and civilly committed as a Sexual Violent Predator on Match 3, 2005. He was released in 2011 under community supervision as he was found to no longer meet criteria as a Sexual Violent Predator.
