| Comments: | According to official documents, Ormsby pled guilty to the crimes of Unlawful Imprisonment and two (2) counts of Assault in the 2nd degree on November 19, 2009. He was given a term of 14 months in prison. Ormsby sexually assaulted a 17 year old male in December of 2008. The victim reported that Ormsby asked the victim to assist him in repairing computers in exchange for an air soft Rifle and the victim agreed, although the victim had no experience in computer repair. The victim accompanied Ormsby to residences initially and then in January of 2009 Ormsby told the victim that he was taking him on a job. Ormsby took the victim to a motel, locked the victim inside and sexually assaulted him. On another day in January of 2009 Ormsby took the victim again to a motel and again the victim was not allowed to leave. The victim locked himself in the bathroom at which time Ormsby forced open the door and again sexaully assaulted this victim.On 10-16-1987 Ormsby was convicted of the crime of Statutory Rape in the 1st degree. Between March and April of 1987 Ormsby (age 23) sexually assaulted a 5 year old male on multiple occasions. Ormsby was employed as a live-in care provider and the victim's mother was a nurse. While attending to the patient, Ormsby took the 5 year old victim for a walk and sexually assaulted him. The victim was assaulted 3-4 more times, but did not report it as Ormsby told the victim that he would hit the victim's mother. Ormsby was given a term of 41 months in prison. In May of 1981 Ormsby was convicted of Rape in the second degree, Statutory Rape in the 1st Degree, Indecent Liberties and Assault in the 2nd Degree. Ormsby who was approximately 17 years old sexually assaulted four males, ages 6,10,11 and 13. He was given a term of 60 weeks at Maple Lane School. In January of 2010 Ormsby was transferred to the Special Commitment Center pending civil trial in this matter. On February 16, 2012 a Snohomish County Superior Court Jury determined that he does not meet the criteria of a sexually violent predator and was ordered released from the Special Commitment Center. Ormsby only requirement is to register as a sex offender. |
